I thought when I bought this case that it was going to give me better battery life. or extra battery life. it does not seem to be doing that - it is more of a pain to have to carry the charger around with me. it does protect the phone well but that is all. I would not purchase this again.

Battery only charges phone to 80% from dead state. The power on/off button on the top of my phone has lost its spring action and does not give any response to the touch. And the battery on/off button paint is cracking and I know it has not been dropped. Just cracking from normal use.
Pros: Durable
Cons: Low quality

Resurgence case performs as advertised

This case performs as designed and advertised while being slim and attractive. It's nice having more than 2X the normal battery power, especially with my iPhone 5 which has had marginal battery life and cold sensitivity since it was new. Apple replaced the battery under an extended warranty program recently which seems to have taken care of the cold sensitivity issue but didn't noticeably improve its on-board battery performance. Thankfully the Resurgence case has bridged the gap between the Apple battery's marginal performance and what I really need for total battery performance. The only reason I didn't rate protection at 5 stars is the case doesn't come with any protection for the front of the phone. I installed a Zagg Invisishield to add some frontal protection.

Sadly when I received the product it did not fit on my phone I have a Iphone 5C. However, my mother had the Iphone 5S and it fit her phone perfectly. She has raved about how great it is and how her phone almost never needs to be charged. I just wish it would of fit my phone. Oh Well

The Resurgence Power case does extend my iPhone's use without recharging. I can easily make it through an entire day without recharging the phone. That's why I got this case. But it does have some negatives.
The case gets extremely warm when it is recharging from a near complete discharge. It does not get so warm when it is not allowed to completely discharge.
The case does not protect the screen. It only protects the edges and back. It also has a smooth finish, unlike my previous Defender case. It doesn't feel secure in my hands. The case fits the iPhone 5s very tightly. It is very hard to remove the case.
Because of the case's battery, an extra long earphone adapter plug is required. The Apple earphone plugs into the adapter. I have misplaced the earplug adapter several times.

I bought this case as my wife has one and urged me to get one. She enjoyed being able to charge her phone anywhere without plugging it in. The case is feels solid and ergonomic, it has rounded edges which feels nice in my hand.
Aesthetically, it looks very slick and I often get compliments. One other thing I enjoyed was that it doesn't wear out your jeans and leave the dreaded cell phone mark on your pocket.
Overall, I feel I made a wise decision purchasing the case and I recommend it to anyone with a busy lifestyle.

This case is a big improvement over the previous extended battery case. The slimmer design is much easier to carry than the bulkier predecessor. Also the software and control over the charging really helps manage battery use. This one also does not conflict with my Toyota Prius Entune software for data use of the apps on the car. I am very pleased with this case.
