Was using a mophie, met a friend who told me about the resurgence. I like the resurgence. It has a better protective case and the charge seems equivalent to the other case charger that I was using.
I am not thrilled with it. Phone has to go dead before it will start charging the phone again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Your OtterBox Resurgence should absolutely be keeping your device all charged up, but it is not intended that your phone be depleted of its charge before this function begins. When you notice that your battery is getting to a point that you would like to add some juice, you should be able to simply push the LED button for one to three seconds and power transfer should kick in. I've been using this Otterbox for a couple of weeks and I like it a lot. It replaced a uNu external battery. I coupled this Otterbox with the Alpha Glass screen protector which is by far the best screen protector that I've used. I like the sleek, attractive design. About the only thing I would like to see them add is a belt holster. I'm really not a fan of placing any type of phone in my pocket.
I have had great success with Otter Boxes in the past, the defender series so I turned to Otter Box when I needed the extended battery. The extended battery/case is attractive as well as functional.
The case is great and the battery backup works fine but the volume buttons will not work at all. I don't need to change the volume much but when I do I really wish I could

The charging part of the case works well, but the volume part does not. When I try to turn the volume up, the volume turns down. I have to turn the volume all the way down, press the up volume button at a certain angle, and then the volume will actually increase. The lower volume button is very sensitive, as well.
I would recommend this to a friend!
