The new design is very sleek, although its a little heavier with the extra battery it's not bad and well worth the extra weight.
I fortunately haven't dropped it since the purchase but the box indicates that it is "military" spec drop protection so I hope if I drop it that "we're" good.
I battery "back-up" charges fast too so I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Feels good in the hand but it doesn't charge the battery like thay claim I love otterbox and will always buy them but this one they can have back try for two days keep working at it otterbox

Love this case! I very rarely have to plug my phone in to charge with the extra battery pack.

Easy to charge phone and case
Can update phone through your computer with the case charger cable
Really there's no reason to ever need to take the case off

Overall the biggest con is the fact that the case is so difficult to open up but there's really no reason to take your phone out of the case once it's in there. Would definitely reccommend this case to a friend! It functions exactly as intended, expected, and advertised.

This is a very nice case for the iPhone 5s & fit perfectly. Well-constructed & works great, it keeps me from having to worry about running low on battery power when I'm out & about for long periods of time. I don't have to bring a separate charging cable & cord anymore! Although I haven't dropped my phone just yet, the case itself seems very sturdy & protective. Thanks Otterbox!

I am quite pleased so far with this product. One small complaint is that the sides of the case scratch and mark up very easily and I have only had it about a month. The blue from my jeans pocket marks the white and doesn't come off very well. The scratches I guess are functional.... I drop it a lot. I fall asleep using it and then wake up to "BONK". Thankfully it performs exceptionally well to protect my phone. My last battery case died because I kept dropping it.... Really pleased I invested in my otterbox so far! I've also had compliments on the colour.

Cons: scratches easily

Love this case! My kids have the Mophie but I didn't care for it. I loved my other otter box case and decided to give this a try since I always use my battery. I like it because the phone is actually enclosed in the case very well protected. It's durable and reliable

I like this case, it's a little heavy, which is the only negative thing I can say about it. It charges so well, my phone can last 2 days without charging.
