I love my new fridge! The freezer has enough room for everything I need to be kept frozen. The movers I used destroyed my fridge & chest freezer but with this unit I don't need a separate freezer.

Horrible Refrigerator!!

This refrigerator is AWFUL!! The drainage hole in the freezer freezes up every few weeks and according to GE’s support you have to get a screw driver and remove the back panel in the freezer. This is, of course, after you remove everything from the freezer. You have to then pour hot water in to defrost the blockage and then use a blow dryer to dry it. If you don’t do this tedious process and unblock the drainage hole, the water flows down into the refrigerator. Until we buy a new - not GE! - refrigerator we now stack towels on the shelf in the refrigerator to absorb the draining water as we are weary of going through the ridiculous process of thawing the drainage hole. It is hard to comprehend how an established company like GE sells such a piece of junk. In addition, it is extremely noisy and has a high pitched sound that drives us crazy. This refrigerator is not even 2 1/2 years old. Our previous refrigerator lasted 25 years!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the freezer!

Love this deep freezer. Everything is at eye level there but not so much in the refrigerator. That’s where we lose the 5th star. Sometimes I lose track of the items way in the back at the bottom. All in all it’s a great appliance.
