Only good thing about this refrigerator is that we got it free from the power company in exchange for our old one. This fridge is not well designed and appears to be made of cheap materials: there is no freeze light; the shelves are not spaced well making stowing of milk and other tall containers difficult - it will not fit a wine bottle in the main compartment unless you lay it on its side; the fruit an veggie baskets are overly large which minimizes space for the shelves; there is a space for an second butter shelf on the door but it does not come with one; shelves in the fridge and freezer have no back lip to prevent items from falling off; and the freezer door shelves are too small. Minimal information in the owners manual.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

So far so good...

First I should say I received this fridge as part of an energy efficiency program. I probably would not have paid this much for any fridge. I've had it a month or so and it's great. The delivery guy reversed the door hinges in about 10 min. It's quiet. I filled the ice trays and had ice the next morning. The factory settings put the top shelf at about 40 degrees and the bottom shelf at about 37 degrees (yes, I have thermometers due to a failing old fridge). It's very spacious, the drawers are great, the space on the door is amazing, you can put gallon jugs on 2 of the 3 door shelves!

Worst shelf configuration I have ever seen in a refrigerator. A light in the freezer would be a nice addition.

No more bisque GE Profile bottom freezer refrigerators! It was such a great product. Now the replacement bisque 21 cuft refrigerator is a top freezer. Constantly have to bend over to access the shelves. One width wide shelves, not adjustable for tall containers, no separate controls for freezer or frig, no temp gauges for freezer or frig, freezer is just big hole with no separate trays or baskets and no light.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Runs quiet

The fridge looks large on the inside but in fact holds the same amount as my smaller fridge did. It was a 19.1 cu ft and this is a 21.1 cu ft. Not a lot of difference but worth noting. It is quiet and performs well. The only thing I do not like is that the way the shelves are designed, you cannot put a gallon of milk on the top shelf. You would need to remove one shelf in order to do so. I do not drink a lot of milk so it is not a deal breaker for me.

Plenty of room on doors and in main storage areas. Freezer shelves do not reach the back wall, leaving a gap between the back of shelf and the back wall. Wish it came with ice cube trays and an ice bin, preferably one for the door.
