Although based on space we replace the old 20-year form GE with a same upgrade model from GE and it gave us level of comfortable, dependability and relatability.

No light

This refrigerator looks great love the width. However the freezer DOES NOT HAVE LIGHT.

Large freezer area

I love the large top freezer area. But I have two concerns. In order to get into the refrigerator section, you have to bend over to put in or take out things.
Also, because the bottom of the refrigerator door is so close to the floor with only about ¾ to 1” clearance, it often smashes my foot upon opening.
I like that it’s Energy Star rated. I recommend it for its freezer, but the refrigerator part is good for people 5 foot high or shorter.

Piece of crap! Do not buy this.

Shortly after 1 year warranty, the cheap plastic drawer broke. Year three, compressor fan blade breaks. No parts to be found anywhere in Canada. So, pay this much for a fridge to last three years if you like. Called GE, too bad, so sad. Much better buying used 25 year old fridge than this.

Perfect for a small area

I needed a refrigerator that would fit in a small space and this one is perfect. I have a GE Profile range and range hood coming also and this black fridge will look good with them.

Poorly designed

Position of top shelf requires tilting of some items to reach the back of shelf due to the front control panel being lower than the back portion. Not enough versatility in the three level positioning of the shelves. Unlike my previous refrigerator which gave you un-limited up and down positions. Lighting is very poor and no light in the freezer. Keeps the food cold (so far) but sadly not a lot of thought went into the design.

Very nice fridge

This is a very nice fridge. It has an adjustable freezer rack and plenty of shelf space. A big plus for me is that I can fit two 1 gallon jugs of milk in the door.
I would recommend this to a friend!
