Suits my needs.

I bought as close to the same model and features as I had in my old GE refrigerator. The new one is quiet, the shelves are well arranged and suit my needs. The freezer compartment is adequate and spacious.
I would recommend this to a friend!

over all the product is similar to our old item but the door inside is not the same as was shown at the store .

Watch your head!

I needed it in a hurry and couldn't find a bottom freezer unit. Consequently, when I stoop to get an item out of the cool area I bang my head on the overhead freezer door as I stand erect.

Ice maker extremely noisey - refrigerator shakes

Refrigerator is not up to the same standards as my last GE. Freezer has no light... Temperature readings takes up front space on shelf...Bottle drinks occasionally freeze in the refrigerator.

Was told it was a step up from what we were looking at, freezer is nice and big but that takes away from the fridge section. We have to actually bend over to see into the back/top shelf. Spacing and shelves are limited because of size. Controls are mounted right in the middle and hang down blocking and wasting valuable space on the first shelf. Crazy design on the ice maker, its mounted/sits crooked causing ice to always fall all over top level and down onto the second level.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

After 15 years with the original model, I just purchased the newest of this model.
The size is exact yet some new features are appreciated such as larger fruit & vegetable bins as well as full door width shelves. Thanks GE!

Lots of space

It has been less than a month but this was a lifesaver. I am an 80 year old widow on a fixed income and this was resonably priced especially for how good it looks. I was upset when my old fridge expired after 16 years but this fits my space better giving me much more room than the last one. The unit chilled right up and in a few hours it was ready to go.
