Miss my side by side refrig. & freezer

Unfortunately GE no longer made a side by side without a door water/ice dispenser & needed the Bisque color to match other appliances.This new refrig was delivered today, and we are so unhappy, and now stuck with it. If you are under 4' tall.then the refrig section would easily be accessible. My taller husband must get on his knees access the refrig section. We will just learn to deal with this monster.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The GTE21GTHWW saves electric and keeps food well

I purchased this refrigerator thru an agency that was helping me conserve energy in my home. I had another unit which was a different brand name and all it did was run for one reason or another, It was also energy star efficient but had i known my electric bill would have been much lower i would have replaced it sooner, It does as good of a job at keeping frozen food frozen and cold food cold but less expensive on electricity..
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have only had this Item for 10 days, so can't really give it a fair assessment. But when I plugged it in, it started to run. Out the front door. Last time I saw it, It was half way down the block and I'm too old to give chase. But I do hope it returns because I personally like the features and GE have always manufactured good products. Because of short ownership, for now, I'll post 2 and 1/2 stars and reserve the other 2 and 1/2 for when it returns. I have received this product through my Northern CA utility company exchange program.

COLD FOOD

Bought this fridge and have had it two days now. Food stays cold in the fridge and frozen in freezer. Can't ask for more. Hope it lasts for decades. I have plenty room in the door, so that's a plus.

Bought this a month ago. Lots of space; door shelves are great! The only downsides are - we did not get the model with an ice maker and the freezer does not have any specific ice storage features. It's a little noisier than our last refrigerator.

I bought this GE fridge just over a week ago and couldn't wait for the shipment to arrive. The wife loves it as it is indeed very spacious and certainly meets her needs. Great product and easy to install
