Not fancy but dependable..

So we live in the country and we lose electricity alot. Our 5yr old Frigidaire French door model with Ice maker in the door didnt like the lose of power. After the 5th time replacing the computer board the compressor did finally quit. Since this was our only fridge. We had to get one fast. After looking at ALL the other brands online and in person. We liked GE model.. It seemed it was built better, Heavier, The plastic shelving on the door was not flimsy, no computer or digital display which means no board to replace! and the reviews was better. The things we didnt like was. The vegetable bins are way to big and would like more shelving room. Would like to have had the Slate color!!! It was only offered on the smaller model since we have 4 teenagers we needed a bigger model. But other then that we like it!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great freezer room

This refrigerator has a shelf in the freezer with a lot of room above and below it. It looks very nice in my kitchen, lots of deep bin storage, and a great bonus of having all the shelves in the door wide enough to store a gallon of milk, which greatly enhances storage room for the refrigerator. Good going GE !!!!

I never thought to look before I bought this unit but there is not light in the freezer so it/s dark and you can't see what's in there.
Very disappointed.
Very disappointed.

Great fit

I have custom cabinets in my kitchen, that were specifically designed for the previous home owners refrigerator. This fit perfectly with my cabinets. There is nothing much to say, its brand new and easy to install. I have always owned General Electric appliances and they have never let me down.
