Worse refrigerator I have ever bought.

Poorly engineered. Top light and unit in the middle at the top makes storing tall objects hard. If you move the shelf down, you lose space on the other shelves. Space at the back of shelves also interferes with storage of items.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Ordinary Refrigerator

I bought this refrigerator 2 months ago. I love the color black and the textured finish. It is spacious for my needs, however, I do not like the fact that you don't have a choice of moving the shelves. The shelves are basically stationary. The shelves on the door are not movable. You cannot use all of the shelves on the door, especially if you have tall items such as soda or juice. You will have to take a shelf off the door. The vegetable and fruit bins are large, a feature I love and you can control the humidity for both. The icemaker makes ice at a fairly slow pace. I am constantly using ice and the ice bin never fills up. I run out of ice daily.

Reviews mentioned noises coming from Refrigerador, but hope the one i purchases would not have that issue I was wrong. Noise continuing to get worst and will now need to have service rep.

Poor Fearures

I would never have bought this if U saw in a store. No freezer light shouldn’t need kitchen light to see what your looking for.. cutting back on feature? Top door shelve not adequate for tall bottles which I had in previous frig.. had to take out butter holder to accommodate. My old Frid had more room. Only good feature is slate finish. Purchased all 4 appliances .. will never by GE again. Very poorly made. Was a previous GE customer.

It is poorly designed. A normal sized person must sit on the floor to see and reach the selves. The placement of the temperature controls hinder the storage or large bottles or cartons on milk or juice.

Doors won't close completely.

I like the new frig but one things bothers me a little. When you go to close the doors of the frig and freezer, they don't close all the way unless you check them and push to close them completely. Don't know what the problem is. Can you offer suggestions????

We only have it a week, but we are satisfied. It's quiet and is functioning well. We wanted bisque as a color and we have it in this model.
