Lacking quality to old one I had

The freezer door opens when I open the refrigerator door, there is no resistance when I open the freezer door, no cover over light to protect from impact. It has plenty of room.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This fridge replaces a GE fridge of the same size that had come with my house that no longer worked. My choices were limited by the space available, and I am disappointed that some of the features of the old model were downgraded in the newer edition. The single light bulb in the fridge compartment (not even an LED) does not provide enough light due to objects on the shelves casting shadows below (old model had one light on each side). In addition, the old fridge had a small upper shelf in the freezer compartment that held a container for ice cubes, as well as the ice cube tray, so that there was more usable space in the old freezer. A light in the freezer would be a great improvement. Quality was an issue, as the new fridge, right out of the box, had scratches on the door, and the first replacement door that was sent had to be returned due to quality issues also. I would only recommend with reservations.

This refrigerator was the right size and color for my kitchen but it doesn't have adjustable door shelves as my former one had

This does not come with a light in the freezer which take away from it greatly, However, it appears to be a very steady machine

Spacious Fridge

I wanted a fridge that could fit in my old house and was spacious enough for the family. From the outside, it's a little larger than our old one. On the inside, it's much larger than our old one. Food seems fresher and lasts longer. I am very pleased, especially since I was able to buy an American-made product at a reasonable cost.
