This is a basic fridge. Does what it's supposed to do which is keep food cold and/or frozen. The refrigerator section seems to keep food fresh for long periods of time. Food doesn't spoil as fast. The veggie and fruit drawers are very roomy. It's difficult to see/locate items on the top shelf because the freezer section comes down too low. I'm constantly having to bend my body to locate food on this top shelf. Not always conducive to older people with back problems. The freezer section has a constant frost inside and I can't get rid of it despite lowering the temperature. This does not come with an ice maker installed. Bummer. I didn't choose this fridge. It came with a new house.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Runs very quietly. Keeps Ice cream very well. Ice cubes never fade away. Keeps our food very well over time. Very energy efficient.

Very noisy.

We purchased our first refrigerator in June. The appliance was so noisy that we had Lowes pick it up and they ordered another one for us. We received the second refrigerator which is equally noisy. Since this was the only model that fit our space we decided to keep it. I would be very happy with the appliance if it was not so noisy that we hear it in the next room when we are watching tv.
