This unit is 3 cu ft smaller than my previous GE refrigerator, but gets the job done. The only thing I noticed is that the freezer is larger which requires you to bend down to see what's in the fridge.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The temperature controls are in the front. Twice some one reached inside the refrigerator and bumped the controls, accidently turning the knob. Both times all the produce froze before we found it. I set it in the proper place and removed the knob. The mounting for the controls blocks setting tall items on the top shelf in the center and if you turn the item to get it in it can hit the light behind the controls. The holders in the lower part of the door extend over the shelf limiting what you can put on the shelf and pushing anything that comes within 2 inches of the end of the shelf back or preventing the door from closing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I just received it 1 day ago. I think i have gotten a quality product. It seems durable and dependable. I researched refrigerators. I even called customer service at GE to ask questions. I found them to be helpful and patient with all my questions. Very impressive. I gave it 4 stars = i have not had the fridge long.

So quiet

This frig replaced our 15+ year old Amana; what a great choice. We were limited as to size and color, and this GE fit our needs perfectly. Bigger than our previous model and much more quiet. Very pleased with our purchase so far.
