Since this GE appliance was installed, my utility costs have significantly decreased. It is a very nice addition to my kitchen. I am proud to show it off. Especially now since it is home to my grandchildren's art work. Thank you so much for this wonderful product. I look forward to enjoying it for many years.

no light in freezer

I am having this refrigerator installed today. We have always had GE appliances and this particular refrigerator is only one of few that would fit in our home. I am very unhappy that the freezer will not have a light. Could you please explain why a freezer would be built without a light?

My refrigerator broke and I needed one in a hurry. This one fit the space I had available perfectly. It's energy efficient, and I like the finish which doesn't show fingerprints. The motor could be a little quieter. Also, can't adjust top shelf to accommodate gallons or taller Brita pitchers. Holds quart containers, but that's about it. Large drinks go on the door if you remove the butter dish.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
