Top value for your dollar

I am very pleased with the Lumia 640. I got into Windows Phone via the Lumia 521. It was a nice phone but it made me want something better. Given my parsimonious nature (and T-Mobile's limited lineup of Windows Phones) I finally got a Lumia 635. And, while I was pleased with the display and processor of the 635, it seemed like it was hardly an upgrade from the 521 when considering no increase in RAM, no ambient light sensor and the omission of a physical button.
Enter Lumia 640 (albeit far to long after initial announcement and international availability): Better battery, more RAM, HD display, ambient light sensor, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC and so forth. It's a very attractive phone that stuns the iPhone users I know, with it's affordability, design and value. Windows Phone 8.1 is really great. Windows 10 Mobile appears to be promising and add even further integration of functionality and design into this stylish handset.

The Microsoft Lumia 640 is the best smartphone I have owned so far. The Lumia 640 fits my lifestyle. I enjoy the high quality display and camera. Windows Phone is easy and fun! I cannot wait to receive the free Windows 10 upgrade on my Lumia.

I previously owned a Lumia 635,and loved it,but decided to upgrade to the Lumia 640.I think that the touch pad is a little bit to sensitive,I often have to back out of programs,which start without my wanting them too.The 640 takes great pictures,and then saves them once a week in my One Drive.I hope to purchase the 950 xl at some point.Overall this is a good phone.

Better than Android, and better than iPhone

I love my Lumia 640. I've had Android, as well as two iPhones that were all incredibly disappointing. Whether it was the seemingly forever outdated OS (Android# or the actual device dysfunction that I dealt with with my iPhones I felt like I was always behind the times or feeling like an idiot for spending so much just to impress friends but silently deal with a bunch of impractical phone issues that were really holding me back. Now I have a phone that's the size of the iPhone six and has a better personal assistant and better speakers. Only thing I miss is the competition between app developers to give us great apps but the rest makes up for that and hopefully with my #and other loyal windows users) Windows Phone will become big enough to have great apps too and more people will realize what a great phone experience you get when you purchase a Lumia!!
