I love my Microsoft Lumia 640

I have a Nokia lumia 520, one Nokia Lumia 635 , one Nokia Lumia 1320 and this is my first Microsoft Lumia 640, it's just great . Very easy to use and powerful. I do not like Android and IPhone cell phones they are very difficult to use.

Great size, not too big or small. Camera goes both ways (unlike 635 which is only uni-directional). Just love the interface, so easy to customize and get it just the way I want - so it works with the way I work.

Great camera better then S3 galaxy

I love this phone! I was looking for a great camera phone without spending a fortune. Nothing compares. I like it better then the Samsung S3 I spent a fortune on. The screen is bright, scratch resistant gorilla glass. Excellent photos and better battery.

Excellent Phone for the price

We have two Lumia 920s, which are great phones. This is my second 640 (my first one came to a sudden end due to my carelessness). I bought this 640 as a backup work phone to my Apple 5S. I find it much easier to use. Has all the features I need. Works well. Between the SD card and OneCloud no storage issues. Decent camera. All the apps that I need (granted my needs are more focused than most). The restore function works flawlessly. Overall very happy. The only complaint I have is the relatively short battery life, but I typically carry an emergency charger in my pocket that easily keeps me going all day. Good phone.

640 XL, it is extrimelly nice phone and operation system after long time android phones usage.. very bad advertising, that why most choose android..

The Affordably Awesome Smart Phone

Using the T-Mobile US version of the Lumia 640: I recently switched from the Lumia 521 to the 640 and it is a world of difference, with double the processor and RAM! I've used both of these phones on T-Mobile and the 640 seems to have better network connectivity in my area. I'm also loving the LTE speeds that I now get. The battery life is very good, but charging seems to take a while.
My only complaint of this phone is the lack of the 5GHz Wi-Fi radio. It is still only the 2.4 wireless.

My favorite phone ever

I've had smartphones for the past 8 years going from Blackberry to iPhone to Windows Phone. This 640 is my favorite of all of them. It has a very good screen, excellent battery life, it feels good in the hand and is light weight. The call quality is excellent. I love the ability to put in a 128gb SD card so now I can have my entire music collection on my phone with plenty of room for pictures.
This phone came with windows Phone 8.1 installed and it worked great. I recently installed a preview version of Windows Phone 10 and I love it even more. Now, Cortana on the phone integrates perfectly with Cortana on my Window10 PC. I can set a reminder on my phone and have it show up on my desktop while I am at work or on my tablet when I am at home.
I originally bought this phone as a cheap replacement to my broken iPhone and I figured that I would want to upgrade when new phones come out this fall, but now I think that I will use the 640 for a long time to come.

Best windows phone i ever used.

It's a shame that windows phones have a reputation of being the the red headed step child of smart phones. I know a lot of people that say that they'd never get a windows phone, I say to those people it's because you've never used a windows phone and that's way they say they'd never get one and once you use a windows phone you'll love it. It has more customization than IOS and Android. I love the fact that i can just about change the notification sound for almost every app that had a notification. I've spent hours just getting all the sounds just how i want them.
The Lumia 640 is the 3rd windows phone I've had and the best one yet. I previously had the 635 and i really loved it but the one thing missing was the flash on the camera. Let me tell you that the 8 megapixel camera on the 640 is great for taking pictures and you have full control over the camera thanks to the Nokia camera app.
I've heard a lot of people say that windows phone doesn't have all the apps you want to have compared to IOS and Android. I say to those people that Windows Phone has all the most popular social media apps you want like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook messenger and Vine. Sure it doesn't have an official Youtube app but there a 3rd party apps that are better than the official Youtube app.
In conclusion don't pass up on windows phone because of apps at least give windows phone a try.
