This phone not only meet my personal demands, the user friendly features, helped me link my OneNote at work to my phone. Allowing me to access ideas presentations all from a durable affordable phone. And being able to go from the ice queen cartoons, to occupy the young ones. To putting finishing touches on procedures that impact supply and demand for the next day and not burn out. Huge! Can't wait to upgrade.

Excellent Budget Phone with Desktop Simularity

I'm currently on a Lumia 635 with a StraightTalk chip. When and if ATT releases this phone as a GoPhone, I am sold. Much better specs than my 635 and $150 or less is within my range. I would recommend that anyone using a Windows 8 desktop or notebook take a close look at this cell. The 635 is already a great phone. Stepping up to the 640 is a no brainer.

Wow!! Great Phone

I keep thinking Microsoft made a mistake with the pricing. I have owned dozens of phones since 1991. The 640 is the best phone for the price by far. I love this thing. It does everything I need and more. I took me a couple days to to switch from android mode, in my mind, but it was worth it. I'm thinking about getting another one for a spare. I'm hoping my wife's android quits so I can get her one. After a couple charges, it now lasts me two days. I think Microsoft hit one out of the park on this phone.

its a really good phone but my LED screen moved now i have some blue lines across the phone but other than that its and easy phone to use

Great phone, but Win 10 killed it

I love the Lumia 640 so much that I bought 3. My first one's screen shattered when I dropped it. My second one was trashed by Windows 10. Upgrading to 10 was my worst decision ever. At first, Win 10 wouldn't install any of my email, contact or calendar accounts. An update let me install some, but not all. The latest update was the last straw. My battery now runs down in less than 18 hours - even with battery saver on and notifications off.
The Lumia 640 works great with Win 8.1. I'll never upgrade my third one.

Good for the Price

Listen up Microsoft,
While this was a great phone (No longer used due to me dropping in in the water) I have a few complaints!
1. Where are all the colours? I can only see black and white on your new phones and limited colours on the others? Where is the personality? That was the best thing about the lumias, they were personable! You could swap out the back cover when you felt like it.
2. I will never buy a windows phone until the app gap is fixed. No snapchat, why? Not many Australian Banks or services. Work with the companies. Pay them to develop apps! I wouldn't mind paying a little bit more for a lot more app choice?
