Amazing phone

I can't believe I wasted money and time with other phones. This phone does more than I ever expected and so easy to use. Cortana is amazing! Haven't had the first argument with her yet. I could go on about the phone more but I'll just say it is like it combines the best of the other OS's into one and allows me to get more things done every day.

This is my second Lumia phone. My first was 520 to start and with a software upgrade became a 521. I am sold on Lumia Windows phones. I have been recommending Lumia for 18 months.

Although it took a while to find a Metropcs store that had the 640, I have found that the phone is very nice and the transition from my android was very easy due to the amount of videos and articles available. I am looking forward to Windows mobile 10.

Great phone, missing CAMERA LAUNCH and SEARCH ENGINE CHOICE !!

I am not sure why MS never follows the idiom if its not broke DONT fix it ! And this phone is an example. MS has hit the right price point, great performance, and mostly great features with compatibility and integration to all the other platforms I use daily like table & desktop.
It should have blown away the ios and android competition !
But, for some reason MS decided to remove the Camera specific button !!! Why would anyone do that ? And by doing that it has lost the ability for "burst" as its setting ask for "camera key" to start bursts !
Also, for some inexplicable reason it has taken away the ability to change your default IE search engine to Google !! Why would anyone do that ??
Now search launches Bing/Cortana which may not be everyone's cup of tea. This forces people to use Google app.
It has also removed the choice to have 2 or 3 columns on the start screen !! Why would anyone do that ???
Simply a very good phone that could have be GREAT if MS just didn't fix what was NOT broken !

Here are reasons why I love my Lumina:
* reasonable price (on a MetroPCS plan)
* large screen
* easy apps (after learning how to)
* taking good pictures
* announcing feature
* Cortana feature
* Microsoft Office
