The service tech came out and told us it was not a broken seal but just a "shotty job" when put together. The ice maker does not work properly. Either NO ice or it despenses too much ice.

The 1st one did not fit thru our opening from dining room to kitchen and had to be returned. Since we wanted all of our appliances to match, the only one we could find to fit was much smaller. I am disappointed in that it does not hold much inside.

I'm not used to the French door style and the ice maker takes up a lot of space which does not offer much door space. Didn't realize there was not a crushed ice option. Always need to be sure the doors close tight. It's just a bit of a learning curve.
