[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrigerator was too small and poorly designed. The ice maker took up some of the top shelf. The freezer was small. Even for two people it was not sufficient and it was exchanged the next day.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After reading many of the negative reviews, I bit the bullet and purchased this model. The main reason being the handle. Do I wish the ice maker was bigger and didn't spit ice all over the floor, the answer would be yes. Do I wish the ice maker didn't take up a bunch of space, yes. But, I wanted the handle to match the oven and dishwasher and water on outside. It also would have been nice if QC would have cleaned up the squished out glue on doors. Overall, I am happy I don't have my old side by side. The handles are very cool.

Ice Maker Chute Ejects Ice Onto Floor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently had our kitchen remodeled and we were looking forward to our new KitchenAid counter depth refrigerator. However, since we received it, we have gotten increasingly frustrated because the ice maker chute constantly ejects ice onto our kitchen floor. Sometimes, we find ice cubes in the next room where they have slid across the floor. We have tried everything, including holding cups up under the chute until we no longer hear ice dispensing. As soon as we remove the cup, ice cubes drop onto the floor. It also holds ice cubes and releases them later. One morning this week we found a puddle in the floor where ice cubes dropped during the night. We are constantly looking for ice cubes. Can you please find a fix for the chute (send us a replacement chute with a new design)? Or better yet, replace our refrigerator? This is so frustrating.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this entire new line of Kitchenaid appliances and to say the wait was not worth it! The fridge is extremely small, you can only shop less than once a week, we keep another fridge in the garage for the overflow. The freezer frosts up all the time and very little storage there as well. The touch screen is undesirable it doesn't display anything. You would think for the price there would be a clock or something! The water dispenser is not even large enough to fit a drinking glass, water bottle or anything in and the ice dispenser shoots out ice everywhere and even after you have stopped the pressing of the button. All I can say is not even the least bit impressed! Oh and it's not smudge or fingerprint proof like the ad states! Disappointed!
