[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered the product in early November and it did not arrive until the first part of March. The ice doesn't make in a sufficient time and I have no idea that in today's time I wouldn't get a crushed ice maker. The side door shelves arbitrarily fall out and don't have a good locking mechanism. It has been a very disappointing appliance.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The refrigerator was delivered about 2 weeks ago. We had read reviews that indicated you could not put in a 12-pack of soda. This is not true. By adjusting the shelves in the door, we are able to put 3 12-packs on a single shelf, as you would want to take out sodas.
The ice-maker takes a bit of getting used to it. I am still having trouble getting out the right amount of ice, without it spilling over the glass and onto the floor. Also, the ice cubes are smaller than my previous side-by-side KitchenAid refrigerator.
Overall, I like the flexibility of only having to open one side of the refrigerator versus the whole top. We have placed most the most used items, by category, to one side or the other to be more efficient.
I have rated everything a 9. I never give out 10 ratings unless I have a long term, absolutely fabulous product. I will update this review after about 6 months.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am enjoying my new fridge. It's a great update with my new countertops. The only thing I don't like about it is that it spits ice out at me after releasing the button. Maybe a narrower chute should be considered.

Poor ice maker design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this refrigerator as part of a complete Kitchenaid appliance group and this is definitely the weak link. The icemaker is horrible!! You can't get ice without getting ice all over the floor, truly a bad design, enough so that if I had to do it again I would not buy this refrigerator based solely on the icemaker... it's that bad! As far as the rest of the refrigerator, it's not bad but for the price I would expect more higher end features like digital controls for the crisper and deli drawers. In my opinion this is just a basic refrigerator at a premium refrigerator price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The freezer's too large and the refrigerator section is too small. I try and try and can't find a way to configure the shelves to hold what I used to have in a much smaller refrigerator - I'm not sure if the limited shelf options are the problem or the limited depth of door space.
The ice dispenser insists on dispensing ice in odd directions and after, sometimes a couple of seconds after I release the dispensing lever. The dispensing niche is shallow and doesn't catch the ice that flies astray, and I continue to clean ice off the floor after I dispense it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I hate this refrigerator and can't wait for it to breakdown so I can get a new one. It was part of our appliance pack from the builder. It's not roomy enough and I'm only buying groceries for 2, it always shoots ice out away from the cup and onto the floor, it doesn't crush ice, doesn't make enough ice, the left door's middle cup doesn't fit secure, it's just not worth the money paid for.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
