[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Manufacturer does not provide industry norm of a washer to adjust the door height. Moreover, initial doors were different lengths by 1/8th inch. Item cost too much for it to be imperfect. Moreover, with CNC machines, there is no excuse for the door to be off.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had a repairman out three times to fix problems with this refrigerator in its first two months of use! The doors were misaligned, which was fixed quickly. The light in the freezer drawer did not turn on when the drawer was opened. This took two visits to fix. Now the "auto" light feature in the water dispenser area does not work. I am living with this defect. I was happy to see that this model has been replaced; unfortunately I purchased my unit just before the model changeover.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since we first purchased it, the ice dispenser doesn't dispense the ice; there's frost throughout the freezer (so every time we open the freezer frost gets all over our hardwood floor; and the shelves on the inside door are too close together but even when we rearrange them there seems to be no proper configuration. Very disappointed with the design.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been disappointed with this selection for a few reasons. I wish it was possible to open one door instead of both access the interior drawers. We've had a lot of trouble with the ice maker dripping water into the external ice tray. The ice maker is also noisy. The stainless steal is not all that stainless.

Very disappointed in KitchenAid Refrigerator Ice Maker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this about 3 months ago. Had to have service come out twice. Once to replace ice maker, second time for ice maker problems. The ice maker spits ice out and not into cup or glass. It constantly projects the ice out. I think it is a faulty design. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS APPLIANCE.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this about 6 months ago, along with a range top and built-in convection over/microwave combo oven, when doing a remodel of my kitchen. The unit works great so far and has become quieter over time. My only complaints are the decrease in storage, but I knew that was going to be the case and, the ice dispenser is a bit temperamental. Sometimes the ice will miss the glass off to the side and go onto the floor. You have to be careful when placing the cup under the dispenser.
