Much better than its predecessor, which broke and blooded my thumb. Hopefully this one does not have cheap pot metal in. It works rather well.

Good products back with pride

This is my second one, the first one broke after opening 100s of bottles and you stood by your product and replaced it free of charge! Now that’s how a company should operate. I have purchased many an Oxo products and have always been pleased. I’m in for life and thank you again for doing what you do and so well.

Corkscrew defect

This was a warranty replacement, and the 2nd time the steel? pin holding the corkscrew itself to the frame sheared off in normal use. Clearly a defect in design or manufacturing.
We have a lot of other OXO products that have generally been great. This corkscrew isn’t.

Failed to extract entire cork.

When fully extended the corkscrew can only penetrate half of cork. The other half of the cork remains stuck in the bottleneck.
