A Great Look and a Great Design!

It is a hefty, sturdy tool, with a sophisticated gun-metal finish and a cushioned knob. The screw is substantial and is coated with a Teflon-like finish. It powers through the cork without effort and with no pieces falling in the wine. This is the corkscrew that I always reach for amid the pile in my kitchen drawer.

It's such an elegant piece and makes opening wine an actual enjoyable process rather than fighting with a wine opener that doesn't work. I'm really happy to have this as part of my collection.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Oxo makes a heavy duty good quality steel corkscrew. It is very easy to use and is made from quality materials. This will not easily break. It is heavy and will work for multiple users. I like how easily is uncorked a wine bottle. Its simple and does not require a lot of strength to be used. Overall, I am very pleased with the quality and function of this corkscrew. It should last for many years.

I wish I had one sooner than just now. Since owning it, I have told all the brides to be to register for one! Besides, OXO is my favorite brand of kitchen tools!
