MODEL SUCKS

WE GOT STUCK WITH THIS LEMON WHEN THE BUILDER INSTALLED IT. MOTHER BOARD WENT OUT; DOOR ON FREEZER WAS NOT LINING UP; SIDE BY SIDE DOORS BROKE THE LATCHES THREE TIMES.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the Fridge on top, and lots of freezer space. Extra door shelves add more space. Great for a small kitchen.

Beautiful but

The motherboard very earl on had tb replaced 3 times. I have trouble w bottom freezer drawer. You must be very careful to keep it aligned as it can jump track and not close properly. In this case the warning Bell does not sound.
Most importantly now the Inside water dispenser button is broken and I cannot find the part. Come on GE u should be able to source this part!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

unsealed doors - foul tasting water - loud motor

This refrigerator was already at the condo I bought, the temperatures were always above what I had set, turns out the doors would not seal. On top of this the water tasted bad even after a filter change, and the motor was always on and very loud.

Lot's of stuff stopped working: cold water dispenser, ice-maker, door latches broken, temp display, main controller (twice).
