Pretty Great! Not As Bad As They Say

It turns out that this model works just fine, except for the ice-maker, but we never needed it. We used it in the finished basement and never had any other issues. The water inside is awkward, but so is water on the door, there are always potential puddles. As far as convenience and reliability it's been great! Also, the freezer drawer is very handy for that overflow food from big box stores that sustain your holiday guests.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Problems with door latches drawer guides

Drawer guides are cracked with mild usage. Only my wife and I,both over 60, we do not abuse things. Door latch or right door also cracked. Checked website for parts but site is very difficult to locate exact parts needed. I see that we are not the only ones with the same problem. Seems like parts are the problem, cheaply manufactured!

VERY BAD APPLIANCE

After 3 years the ice maker stopped producing ice. After 5 years I needed a new main board. After 7 years needed to replace the capacitor, and just now my evaporator fan motor went bad. Same day my GE profile microwave just gave out. This model is no longer being manufactured but I will not by any GE product again.

Constantly Beeping

This refrigerator beeps all the time if the door is open for more than a minute or two. Not sure how I'm supposed clean out the fridge ever. We have to keep closing and re-opening the door because of the incessant beeping. And I can't find a way to turn off this "feature"

It's worked Perfectly Since 2009

We love this model refrigerator and have had no problems until this past year; it's 13 years old. We love the size of the freezer (7.2 cu. ft.) and the wire shelving. I don't have to remove my frozen food to clean the bottom of the freezer. A quick wipe & done is all that's needed. The ability to customize "on the fly" the refrigerator depending on what and how much storage we need has been wonderful. The overall dimensions are perfect; not too big and not too small. My only complaint is that I cannot find another like it with the same dimensions, quality and features.

Horrible!

This is the worst appliance I have ever owned. I only have two side door compartment that haven't broken apart yet. One day I opened the refrigerator door and one of the glass shelves shattered. The holders for the pull-out wire basket broke off. The glass on the bottom shelf came unglued, and when I tried to lift the unit out to glue the glass back on, the plastic frame broke into pieces and the glass hit my floor and put a hole in it. All this and I've only had it about 3 years now. Most of what's left of the inside is glued together. These pieces cost a fortune to replace, so I'll be getting a different refrigerator before I buy replacement parts. It's a piece of junk.

Product should be recalled and replaced with a working model for free.

Motherboard replaced three times. Door latches break. Gaskets replaced twice. Doors (both freezer and refrigerator) do not close properly; need to be checked and double checked. Plastic parts found laying around interior. I will junk this appliance when my second extended warranty expires.
