Our least favorite appliance

Fridge died once. The freezer temperature fluctuated wildly. Doors never lined up correctly. We had to close the left door first or the left door wouldn't close. Would often not close all the way. Interior water filter dispenser doesn't seem to make sense.

Short Lifespan

Doors warped which matters not. Now it does not cool at all. These should all be recalled and replaced. See the MANY complaints about this and other GE refrigerators online. Would not have expected such an expensive unit to die so quickly (<10 yrs).

The GE profile PFS22SISASS ; I have owned it for 7-years now and I've only had it repaired 2 times, The first time was the control boards; per the repair man it has 2 different control boards and he replaced both. The 2nd time I can not remember what part it was
Decoding the Serial number, it appears my refrigerator was made in May 2005, so it is 12-years old now.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The electronic control board is junk - replaced 2x

Replaced control board twice. Replaced ice maker. Replaced temperature sensor. Terrible

Work great very solid!

Had it for over 10 years worked very good until the other day there was a power outage in my area and fried the main control board, so I went online and ordered the part because I think it is well worth it to fix it everything works the ice maker, the freezer very good stainless steel.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Need new freezer gasket and no longer available. 2k item and you do not stock parts. I already called and was told you no longer have the gaskets. Will never buy another GE appliance. My washer and dryer nothing but problems as well!

Worst appliance I have ever purchased

This refridgerator has been nothing but issue after issue. Throughout the lifetime of owning this appliance, it has never maintained the correct freezer temp costing us hundreds in lost food. We are finally throwing in the towel and just purchasing a new one after 6 short years.
