Lots of problems...

First year - motherboard went x2.
Third year, plastic door catches busted.
Finally - year 10 - dead.
Guess they don’t make things like they used to... :)

Very good refrigerator, with good features

We have had this refrigerator since 2008. It has needed service a couple of times. But, overall we are happy with it. It goes very well with the rest of our kitchen design. It has proven to be well worth the investment.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We have had the product for almost 7 years, and we have had to replace the main circuit board twice. Also, the shelves started cracking far to early. And we are constantly having to pick ice cubes off of the floor. This thing has been nothing but frustrating. It was a big mistake. We will not be buying GE appliances in the future.

Poor, broken after 6 years

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well, six years in and the computer board and compressor blew. It struggled to stay cold when the weather was warm since day 1. Trays broke easily. Bummer we have to buy a new one but not worth the $ to fix. Yes the ice cubes always fell on the floor too!! Not a happy GE customer.

Have had this refrigerator for 8 years and have had it repaired three times. My older refrigerator in the garage is 23 years old and working great. One repair ever!

So Disappointed

We bought this fridge in 2007 and now it's in need of its third repair. After an ice maker problem a few years ago, the control board was replaced last year and now the freezer rail assembly needs to be replaced. We're not putting any more money into this fridge and I am done with GE appliances overall. Our GE washer/dryer and dishwasher all were also disappointments in terms of service and reliability.
