No longer available. lets make a fridge that has a part that needs to be replaced every few years and then stop making the part just to tell the customer, oh well buy another fridge. Sorry no GE appliances in my household ever again

expensive, faulty , the worst

We liked the look, but we were so disappointed. First was a problem on warranty with the freezer. Than all sliders started cracking, the bottom drawers railing broke,then the side doors are not closing !!!
That was only beginning , than the fan for compressor wasn't working , now we had to replace the main board!!! We are very angry and frustrated and not sure what is going to be next. It was very expensive model and totally waste of money.

Worst Refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned dozens of refrigerators and this model is the most undependable one I have ever had. It's no wonder the model is discontinued. I brought one new and it didn't work right out of the box .... I received another and hardly a day goes by when the freezer temperature doesn't spike up (3-15 degrees). We don't leave the door open, it has room to vent and we don't overload it. I have had GE authorized repairman come and go over the years and still no solution.

This expensive refrigerator has been nothing but trouble from day 1. Purchased new in 2006, we've gone through 2 motherboards, a leaking ice maker water line that damaged the floor and basement ceiling below, and NOW 2 broken upper door latches that are made out of cheap plastic. I am 54 and all of my life our family have been loyal GE customers, for everything. That ends now!

Junk, junk, junk three boards in two years. Freezer door slides replaced twice and frig door closer is broken.
Refrigerator was only two years old and GE would not repair for free.
