All around good phone that could use some tweaks

The LG G3 is a very good phone, and at my time of purchase, I think it was the best option. LG has done a great job to separate this phone from the rest of the market. There are a number of innovative features that influenced my decision to buy. The first is the functional design. The phone is big. When I purchased my last phone, I resisted the push to move towards larger screens because I wanted something that could still fit comfortably in my pocket, so I was a little apprehensive to jump to a phone this size. Now, after making the decision, I couldn't go back. The screen is stunning, and it makes great use of the front real estate leaving little bezel. As far as physical design is concerned though, my favorite innovation is the button placement. Most other phones put their volume rockers and power buttons on the edges of the phone, but the G3 places them at the center of the rear face. It seems odd at first, but when you hold the phone, it feels natural. One of the other interesting proprietary features of the G3 is the knock code to unlock it. You can create a customized pattern of taps that you can do anywhere on the screen to wake up the screen.
There are other things that I feel LG and the G3 have done very well. There is a level of customization available within the software overlaying android that is scarcely available elsewhere. You can modify the homescreens, like in most other phones, but you can also modify the softkey buttons on the bottom and their visual aesthetic. You can also create your own icons for apps and shortcuts, change or modify the font and sizing, keyboard size, switch to a one-handed operating mode, and more.
There are some things that the phone does well though that could be better. While I love the screen size, the quad HD can kill the battery life if you leave the screen brightness at 100%. I keep mine around 60%, and that does well in most situations. The auto-brightness is ok, but it often too slow to adjust. The screen can come across as overly sharpened and a little washed out too, but luckily you can overcome some of that through the accessibility menu. In there, you can adjust color balance and contrast to better suit your individual tastes. The camera is another major selling point for phones now. The G3 has a very good camera. The default setting is 10 megapixels, and the camera can go up to 13. The laser focus works well under ideal conditions, but the menu and stock camera interface leave me wanting more. It does not offer any options for adjusting white balance, ISO speed, or shutter speed. The menu is very stripped down, but you can adjust pictures with various filters after the picture is taken. However, if you enjoy photography, this takes a lot of the fun out of the process. This could easily be corrected through software updates though, so I will keep my fingers crossed here.
Overall, the phone is very good. It has top notch specs, has a premium feel, and you can tell LG took functionality in mind with their design. However, I would like to see a few things tweaked to make it a better overall experience.

Best phone I have had

I love this phone. I have only had it a few months but it is great. I love the speaker quality! No need for a bass booster or any of those types of gadgets. I love the multi window function. You can check email and text at the same time, and etc. The photo quality is very very good and so is the video quality and the battery lasts forever. I literally only charge my battery, every couple days and I talk on it alot!!
And it isn't too small or too big, it's just right.

The all new LG g3 is simply perfect. At first glance, it looks a lil large compared to others, but once in your hand, it's the perfect size. The quad hd screen looks amazing. Too many features to list, but simple to use, and excellent battery life. LG has done a wonderful job with the new g3.
