[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i bought this phone, reluctantly, from a friendly retailer. i was told it would simplify my life with all its wonderous customizable features. skeptic is not the word....but I'll use that one.
i had it for two weeks and had just begun falling in love with it. i had adapted to what it couldn't adapt to my preferences and i had just realized how much it had simplified Manny things for me, and it was stolen.
oh the torture of losing such an awesome phone/assistant/device/friend!!!

Great phone!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this Feb 2016 (secondhandedly) and I have loved this phone! It's really great and I have had minimal issues with it. The only problem I have is that after a year, the battery isn't holding a charge very well, but I enjoy the phone a lot so I went ahead and just purchased a new battery. If you are looking for a nice smartphone without paying a fortune for a snazzy new one, I totally recommend the G3!

I love the camera!

The most important feature on any phone for me is the camera and this one is very good, photography is my livelihood. I do wish it had more features and settings for the camera but the quality is amazing! I do not like the tapping on the screen to "wake" it up, that's annoying, I would rather have a button to push but if that's the least of my worries...GO ME!!!! Here is the answer to the important question....would I buy this if I was someone reading this review.....if the camera is an important feature than I would purchase this phone, the camera is that good! Hopefully this is helpful to someone. :)

My first smart phone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Yes, this was my first smart phone. The phone I had before this one was the LG Env3 which was great. I hated to part with it, (it was still working perfectly after many years), but my friends & family members finally convinced me that I needed a smart phone. Well, after searching around, I settled on the LG G3. All I can say is, almost 2-1/2 years later, this phone is still as perfect for me as it was the day I bought it (and I have not had one problem with it in all that time). It does everything well, but the one feature that I absolutely love is that there are no "buttons" on the sides of the phone. All the controls are on the back so no matter how I hold it, or slide it into my pocket, I can't "accidentally" push the buttons - just a great design!
It looks like LG's newer phones have moved some controls to the side, so I'll just have to make sure I keep this phone forever!

I've used the phone for the last 2.5 years and the only thing that broke on it was the glass covering the camera. The camera starts up really fast and has allowed me to take pictures of my kids in motion when I need to. performance of the phone is still pretty quick after 2.5 years, but I usually don't install that many apps to affect performance. The Gripe I have with my phone now is that since I recently moved over to cricket wireless from verizon wireless, the phone does not pick up LTE service. Not the phone's fault since the phone was built for verizon. I can still use it, just the data is a bit slower without LTE. Overall, excellent phone.

Best smartphone on the market

This phone has everything, but the standouts are the big, amazingly clear screen, paired with a phenomenal camera and snappy performance. What sealed it for me was the SD card slot and removable battery. Can't do any better!
