We received a NewAir AF-520B Outdoor Misting Fan for reviewing purposes. Living in Georgia means we deal with a lot of heat and humidity. Our family loves being outdoors and we spend many nights enjoying a backyard BBQ. We usually have to wait later in the evening to enjoy the comfort of our back deck, but the NewAir AF-520B Outdoor Misting Fan has allowed us to spend more time there because of its amazing features. This fan can keep a large area cooled and the mist is just perfect for staying cool. The kids love to run up to it and cool off when they get too hot. This is also a safe, attractive and functional fan that gives us so much more enjoyment outdoors on those very humid days. We are going to get so much use out of this fan this summer, I highly recommend it!

Really strong fan! and the misting is pretty hardcore.. Perfect for really hot summer days! and I even use it without mist in my home gym because the fan is so strong. Lil bit loud, but to be expected.

I have a 20X20 patio that is not covered it also has an adjoining play area for the kids. We rarely spend time out before the sun goes down. I wasn't expecting more than the misting fan to cool when up close enough to it. I am thrilled that the misting fan not only cools the entire patio with it's oscillating feature, but it also reaches beyond the play area keeping the kids and their little tykes play toys cool. Usually if they are out in the sun their toys get hot quickly. The misting fan has proven to help make play time more enjoyable for them and I am comfortable hanging out on the patio. You can also adjust the height feature which is nice for when we lay out. The high - low settings are great for keeping the temp cool or just circulating the area. I easily connected the garden hose and used an extension cord to use the fan at the far end of our patio.

It was easy to assemble, operate, and move around. I like that it has 3 speed options and a little lever on the hose connection allows you to control the amount of water being delivered to the fan. This is the perfect fan for the hot Arizona sun! I'm so happy with it!

The NewAir AF-520B is an 18 oscillating fan that can be used both with and without water. You can adjust the fan head vertically to direct the mist and air right where you want it and then let the continuous fan mist the entire area perfectly! It has three speeds so you can enjoy the lightest breeze and mist or turn it up for those crazy hot days. We sat outside with ours during the mid 90 degree temps we recently had and the high setting provided comfort throughout our entire patio area.

This will be a great fan for those hot dog days of summer and for the days outside when there is no breeze. I like how you are able to aim the fan exactly where you want or have it oscillate and you are also able to control the speed and the misting level too. This gives you lots of options and variables. Assembly was nice and quick, after it's together, you simply connect it to a garden hose and you are able to start enjoying the cooling mist. It is a good looking fan, not too clunky looking and rust resistant make it great for use all summer!
