My grandsons live in the desert and LOVED the NewAir AF-520B Misting Fan I received free for review. It was easy to put together, simple to hook up to water. Their summer will be far more cool thanks to NewAir. A fabulous product for those who live in hot spots. Doesn't SOAK you, just mists.

The Florida summers can be oppressive but amazingly a little breeze and some mist and it feels significantly cooler. The fan looks great and it's easy to set up and use. It blows hard enough to cover a very large area but it's relatively quiet while it does it. If I could just get my kids to stop standing right in front of it cooling off their own faces I could enjoy it more :) It has a shut off valve where the water hose attaches so it's nice not to have to turn the hose on and off all the time. It's perfect for anyone who likes to spend time outside in the summer.

I am so excited to use this cooling fan in the summer. It gets just terribly hot outside, and this fan will make my entire patio nice and comfortable.I really like how solid the fan feels, I see no problem with it standing up to the winds and outdoor weather. I also like the multiple settings on the fan from speed to oscillating and height changes, you can really customize the area that you are trying to cool.Lastly, the price is well worth the additional time you can spend outdoors in comfort. I am really looking forward to this summer and the future ones as well . . . bring on the heat!

The NewAir AF-520B Misting Fan is a fantastic product. The fan, itself, blew a very nice cool breeze and with the misting option turned on, it really did a great job of cooling people down. Assembly was extremely quick and easy and the product has a very solid feel to it. I HIGHLY recommend this product!
Pros: Easy to Assemble And Operate. Works Great!
Cons: Hose Attachment is plastic instead of metal.

We love this misting fan! It is sturdy and seems durable, but it is also lightweight enough to easily move around. It works very well and I love that you can adjust the height, the angle of the mist, and how much mist it sprays out. You do have to attach a hose for the mist to work, but you can use it as just a fan as well. It was easy to assemble in under 20 minutes. We received this product to review-- opinions are my own. Living in Texas I was more than happy to try out this fan! Usually the 100 decree summer weather keeps us inside, but now we should be able to enjoy our patio finally. The spray can be controlled with a switch to allow as much or as little mist as you would like. The kids were also thrilled with the new fan and I can already see them playing in the mist when school is out.

This will be a lifesaver this summer when it gets as high as 120 and the lowest at night 100 degrees! We love to BBQ on our patio and this fan will help us continue all the way through the summer. It's easy to assemble (did it myself to prove I could), set up is simple and it truly is quiet. You can stop the direction of the fan and adjust the height. Box also comes with 2 additional misting nozzles should you need to replace (hard water here in Phoenix) but you can also soak them in white vinegar for 2 hours if it clogs. Really happy about this being a part of our outdoor entertaining - will use it for a baby shower coming up, it will be a hot one!
