This NewAir AF 520B Misting Fan is the answer for keeping cool on hot, humid, summer days. The fan covers over 500 square feet and has 3 fan speeds but the best part is that you can attach it to a garden hose and it adds a cool, refreshing mist to the cool air. Perfect for deck, porch or patio. Very easy to assemble and a durable sturdy unit.

I'm looking forward to using our NewAir Misting 18 Deluxe Fan in the heat of the summer when the degrees gets in to the high 90s. The misting cooled us down quickly in our 80 degrees weather last weekend. I really liked the extra fine mist and the 3 fan speeds and the adjustable height. My husband put it together in about 15 minutes.

It is already in the 80's here in April. We needed something to keep the kids cool while they played outside. This misting fan works great. It is easily assembled, hooks to the garden hose and keeps the boys cool while they play. The Fan itself is stylish and looks great too. It is well build with sturdy construction. It has 3 speeds to change the level of cool mist air. I know this will be well used all summer long here.

This is one of my most prized possessions in my new home. I have a great outdoor space but don't have a pool so it's not AS enjoyable when it's very hot out. This fan makes being outside in the hot air significantly more tolerable and enjoyable.
Pros: Compact, Easy To Install, Great speed settings

My friend and I used the NewAir AF-520B Outdoor Misting Fan on a very warm (94 degrees!) sunny day in Southern California. My friend hosted an outdoor picnic for her kids. One of these effectively covers our 15' x 15' patio with a gentle and fine mist that really helps us cool off in the dry SoCal heat. I loved how simple setup was and find it pretty reasonable noise wise as an outdoor fan. I was afraid the plastic fan sheathing and blades would wear easily but they have held up great and are perfect for outdoor use. One thing especially nice about this misting fan, over the previous ones we have owned, is the extra long cord and sturdy hose- very high quality for the size and price!
