Had the fan for a whole summer and it worked great. It was very sturdy and neighbors all asked where they could get one. Misting feature works great.

Great for summer BBQ's in FL

This is going to be a great addition to our summer BBQ's in FL. Its quiet and very easy to put together! Can't wait to use it again and again so we can be cooler outdoors this summer.

Such a cool fan (literally!)

It was easy to assemble, operate, and move around. I like that it has 3 speed options and a little lever on the hose connection allows you to control the amount of water being delivered to the fan. This is the perfect fan for the hot Arizona sun! I'm so happy with it!

Meh...decent enough, but not great

On initial setup I thought hooking up water and regulating flow would control how much spray I had. Unfortunately, It leaves a 3 foot area thats not mist, but water. Don't think it's defective, just the design. I used it with about an 8 foot spacing, and it worked well.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I purchased this mist fan after having purchased 2 others that were such poor quality I did not even finish assembly. I was VERY impressed when I opened the box of my NewAir AF-520B. Quality was obvious, much higher grade material and assembly was a breeze, took maybe 15 minutes, and I am very detailed oriented. Hooked it up and it immediately functioned properly and everything works great, misting was good and the price is a big plus. We can't wait until our Tucson temps soar into the 100's, which they do most everyday int he summer - up to 115 degrees is very common, to use it. Highly recommend this misting fan

Excellent fan that has really great range and cools off my patio with ease... The mist is very strong and keeps more than 5 people cool at one time as long as you have it rotating. I would highly recommend this fan to anyone

Makes Florida bearable!

Living in Florida means you either live indoors for most of the year because of the heat and humidity, or you buy a NewAir fan to be able to enjoy the outdoors. This fan is so easy to put together and was nearly silent as my husband and I sat outside while we watched our kids play. We are looking forward to many cool days this summer thanks to New Air!
