Beautiful appearance

Love this cooktop. It looks elegant and functions great. Only negative is that it is a bear to keep looking spotless -- not difficutlt to clean but needs a wipe down after every use to keep it looking good

Beauty, function and form all in one!

We remodeled our kitchen last year and chose GE Profile appliances for our gas cook top and double wall oven. The cook top works beautifully. Having 5 burners is a plus when cooking for holiday gatherings. The Power Boil feature works great. Clean up of the white ceramic is easy. I just use warm water and soap. For tougher stains, I use warm water and a soft scrub. I did try to replace the black cast iron burners with gray ceramic burners (available on other models) but was not able to do so. That would be my only negative comment and why I gave the appearance a 4 star rating. Our kitchen is done in tones of white and gray with satin nickel hardware and gray ceramic burners would have been perfect.

Cooks well, horrible to clean

The black glass surface shows every streak and spill. The control knobs and burners make cleaning a very time-consuming chore. GE's cleaning video shows their induction cooktop with just its flat, uninterrupted surface to clean, but the gas burner model is a real chore if you wanted it to look good. It cooks well.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've owned this for 4 years. Cant say a bad thing about it. Plenty of heat on the power boil. Easy to clean. No failures. Worked during Sandy. Still looks day 1 after a cleanin.
