This glass cooktop, yet gas was installed in my kitchen remodel in April of 2014 ... My husband has a tendency to boil over food and the cleanup on this stove top was just what I was looking for! ... The convenience and responsiveness of gas and the ease of cleanup ! ... Plus this cook top, with it's grills on glass looks wonderfully updated!

Huge Improvement Over Thermador!

I replaced an impossible-to-clean Thermador gas cooktop with my new GE Profile black glass cooktop and am quite happy with my decision. It looks as good as it cooks!

the glass surface is hard to clean. The sparkler for starting the fire sometimes did not work.

Gas glass cooktop

This is a very nice cook top and works well for us because we don't cook inside a lot, yet it gives the kitchen a gourmet kitchen look. There's only one negative...the glass shows fingerprints and smudges easily and I like a shiny look all the time!
