GE Profile cooktop is very difficult to clean and maintain.

I bought a GE profile gas cooktop 5 weeks ago. Product looks great and works fine but it is very difficult to clean glass surface. I tried several options to clean but surface stains don't go away. I called customer service and customer relations for support. Both of them refuse to provide any help. I didn't expected such a poor quality of the product from GE.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Black glass is beautiful but does show spots and dust. Grates set about 3" above countertop height so may not be comfortable to use if you are short.

The only problem I had was the drawers underneath. had to modify them. The regulator was in a different place than the old stove.

It's very small for me but not too bad. I have because my builder did not have any other option for stove.

I like the lock key feature. Ofcourse I can clean this cooktop very easy.

I purchased this cooktop to replace my previous GE Profile cooktop of 13 years. I had been so impressed with the reliability and performance of my previous cooktop I needed to stick with what works so well. So far, I am very pleased with the new cooktop. The high quality and excellent operation is as expected. And, it's updated style is beautiful.
