Just what I was looking for, so easy to keep clean. Update in white to match my older GE Profile series without replacing all appliances.

Have owned this for about a year-only found it by accident in a catalogue in a store. Could not find it in stock anywhere as most stores have gone to black and SS. I love it. It cleans so easily because of the completely flat, smooth surface all the way up to the actual small circle of the gas outlet. The only con to this unit is cleaning the grates in the self cleaning oven is not recommended. They take a little more effort to clean than the cooktop.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The gas on glass look is nice. Controls work well and the lock feature is a plus. Grates are extremely heavy which is good. Smooth top makes cleaning easier. Black surfaces in general are more difficult to keep smudge free in my opinion - but smudges mean someone has cooked dinner! A manageable install for a do-it-yourself type.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I installled this stainless steel cooktop a year ago and am very happy with its appearance and performance. It is a very good-looking appliance. It was easy to install. It is very easy to keep clean. I like the sturdy stainless steel knobs and their position well off to the side of the burners where they never get hot. The gaskets around the holes under them are very effective at keeping spills from running into the cooktop. The burners are elevated and totally sealed which also prevent spills from running into the cooktop.. The large burner is very useful. We paired the cooktop with a pop-up downdraft vent from another manufacturer and the combination looks good and works well - much better than the downdraft stove we replaced which sucked the heat from under the pots. I would purchase this model again and have already recommended it to friends who installed it in their beach house.

I saw it in a new house and thought it was a great improvement in the cleaning department. In my previous houses I had a GE electric glass cook top range which I really liked. I was happy that you came out with the glass model in the gas.
