[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator in August/delivered August 19, 2024. Two days later, there is frost build up on the freezer door and there was frost build up around the icemaker drawer. This has continued since installation to this date 11/25/24. The frost has to be removed on two- or three-day intervals to prevent excessive built-up. The end result, the freezer drawer seems never to be properly seal. The icemaker has built-up frost to the point /have to be turned off and not able to be used. THIS SHOULD NOT BE! VERY UNHAPPY. Too much money spent for this to happen. I REALLY REGRETT BUYING THIS KITCHEN AID REFIGERATOR.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Number two at best because of the size

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this unit because of the same size as my previous KitchenAid, supposedly the same model. The exterior dimensions are exactly the same and fit into my built-in cabinetry fine. However the interior of this refrigerator/freezer is smaller than the previous one. The shelf design on the door is extremely poor and causes bottles and everything to rattle on the door opens or closes. Get sold as a 20.9 ft.³ unit but it is not. If I could have seen this unit on the floor of a sales location prior to purchasing it I would not have.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

OK but ice maker sucks.

OK refrigerator but the ice maker is junk. Slower than molasses making ice even with max ice selected. Any time you have more than two people over you better buy ice from the store. Never buy a KA again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Came from a loved forty year old SubZero. Love the refrig section, but really do not like the freezer drawer. The supurb ergonomics of the refrig are sorely missing in the freezer.

Loved the first one so much, we bought a second for our vacation home. The first one is 15 years old, and the second is 6 years. No issues with either one and still going strong. Well worth the investment.

Since installation, the refrigerator has not cooled properly, and the Over Temp keeps ringing. I called a service and found out it is a manufacturing defect and needs to be replaced. I am so unhappy with my purchase.
