Great design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The door has so much storage for condiments. Ice maker is quick and the hopper is a nice size. Compressor on top is the best for efficiency. Only complaint is that the appliance needs to be secured to the wall, it's liable to tip over when opening the door, especially with the vacuum seal on the door.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Expensive and cheaply built

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought it to replace a similar model that was going south. I was shocked at how expensive it was, apparently just because it was a “built-in” model versus stand alone. It also appears to be built far more cheaply than the 9 year old one it replaced, which was solid and sturdy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator in August/delivered August 19, 2024. Two days later, there is frost build up on the freezer door and there was frost build up around the icemaker drawer. This has continued since installation to this date 11/25/24. The frost has to be removed on two- or three-day intervals to prevent excessive built-up. The end result, the freezer drawer seems never to be properly seal. The icemaker has built-up frost to the point /have to be turned off and not able to be used. THIS SHOULD NOT BE! VERY UNHAPPY. Too much money spent for this to happen. I REALLY REGRETT BUYING THIS KITCHEN AID REFIGERATOR.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Number two at best because of the size

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this unit because of the same size as my previous KitchenAid, supposedly the same model. The exterior dimensions are exactly the same and fit into my built-in cabinetry fine. However the interior of this refrigerator/freezer is smaller than the previous one. The shelf design on the door is extremely poor and causes bottles and everything to rattle on the door opens or closes. Get sold as a 20.9 ft.³ unit but it is not. If I could have seen this unit on the floor of a sales location prior to purchasing it I would not have.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
