Worst Fridge ever

Worst purchase ever. After a year, the ice maker broke and the lights in freezer went out. The filters have to be changed every other month, and two years later all of the LED lights have gone out in the fridge so I have no working lights. Terrible fridge for the cost.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love the charcoal filter inside. Lots of storage on the door. My only complaint is the vegetable drawers are a bit shallow. Overall very pleased with the fridge and the price

Ice maker makes ice so fast I don't think I'll ever need the feature that makes ice quicker. I didn't think I was going to like the platinum interior but I really do like it!! Softer than stark white! Doors and drawers all fit and open/close smoothly. Plenty of room... So far so good! I'm so glad I didn't go with a SZ ...KitchenAid all the way!!

Least favorite KA

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the 3rd KA refrigerator I have owned and this is my least favorite model. I much prefer the french door models, especially the wood trim interior I last owned. The drawers and door on this fridge are terrible. The door swings closed forcefully that the deli drawer has to be opened to hold the main door open in order to load groceries or clean the interior. The produce drawers are not level and bump in to each other when opening and closing. I’ve tried to remedy these issues as well as the home builder and nothing could be found.the freezer is incredibly small and nothing is adjustable. When the fridge was installed the on/off switch was left halfway between the two positions. I found this only after messages about the temperature, assumed the freezer had been left ajar, then came home to the fridge off completely.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very disappointing

I bought this refrigerator to replace my 30 yr old Subzero. Both are 36" wide. I emptied my old subzero out and then tried to put everything I had in it into my new KitchenAid. Not even close. Far less storage in both the refrigerator and the freezer. Every thing is plastic; veggie bins are very small. No egg holder trays. The glass shelving is very lightweight. The freezer is pathetic; has worthless partitions that make organizing a challenge. Ice making capability is terrible. While it is an attractive refrigerator, it is NOT for someone who entertains a lot and needs storage. If it had more shelves that would be helpful that the compartments in the door are a joke. Too much wasted space on having individuals compartments rather than continuous ones.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
