World’s Worst Fan

This fan is great in theory but is an absolute nightmare in reality. The poor design and build quality results in incessant humming noises. No matter how level the surface, whether it’s hard or soft, this fan does not run for more than a minute before losing balance and generating an obtrusive hum. This makes the product unusable at night which was one of the main reasons we purchased it. Expensive and not worth it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Worst Product Ever

Vornado should rethink the V-flow circulation because it does not work. Not close to being worth the money. Poorly made - no flow, no air, no relief.

I actually thought i was buying the best but was i ever mistaken ! I live in a small mobile home and set this in my "living room" and instantly discovered how utterly worthless this unit is. It's only "quiet" at the lowest speed at which it doesn't put out ANY air volume either! At any of the higher speeds you have to be sitting directly in front of the unit and it's so loud that you can't hear yourself think!! This is the 41" LARGE unit too. I was expecting much more. I hope i casn take it back for a complete refund because it is a TOTAL waste of money and a complete piece of garbage. Extremely dissapointed !!
Pros: Lightweight
Cons: Noisy, Not Very Powerful, Worthless Waste Of Money

WOW! Love the fan!

A friend of mine was helping his cousin move from a house near a college campus. He brought back a lot of furniture that his cousin wasn't going to use and one of those items was the Vornado. He knew I used fans more than the AC, so he gave it to me. What a great gift! It generates a ton of air and takes up a minimal amount of space. To feel the strong current, I keep it closer to me than at other times. It works great when I'm relaxing on my rear, screening-in deck. It doesn't oscillate but that is not a big issue for me. Love the product!
Pros: Attractive, Circulates Air Well, Easy to install, Quiet, Range of Speeds
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bought better at a garage sale

I use the product personally in one room. It looks amazing but it doesn't work as it says. only blows in one direction.(an oscillation would work better). I have another fan that has around 2 times the power for under 2 times the price.
Pros: Attractive, Looks great
Cons: Doesn't Work As Said

Good circulator

I really enjoy this circulator ,but it's the remote control and the box was properly sealed. It was a huge disappointment. I own another vornado and i bought this one because it's bigger and it had a remote control but it's missing it.

I purchased a 184 tower circulator three years ago. It worked great until it just stopped working recently. Customer service representative Rhonda Dehncke was very helpful assisting me in finding that it was covered under Vornado's warranty and getting it replaced promptly.
I would recommend this to a friend!
