Great replacement tower fan

I totally love this tower fan. Even though it doesn't oscillate, it cools the room very nicely. I love the fact that this tower fan is quiet in operation and has 4 different settings. The design of this tower fan is excellent and appealing.
I would recommend this to a friend!

2 Broken "Circulators"

I purchased two of what I had expected to be the best fan that I have ever purchased. They were certainly the most expensive fan that I had purchased to date. The first one broke within 5 or so hours of operation. The second one broke after a year of fairly light use. I imagine that there was some design defect in this model that caused them to break, but I will probably never buy a Vornado product ever again.

Motor is loud and clunky.

I bought and loved my fan for about the first month. However after the first month the motor makes a clanging sound that is louder than the fan itself. While the fan is beautiful and nice, I am unsure on the quality.

I bought this after reading the reviews because I needed a fan for my apartment. It is worth absolutely every penny! I love how I can angle it in the living room and everyone can feel a breeze. I almost never use it on high because I get too cold. I generally sleep with it on the lowest setting. Love it!

I purchased one of these at Bed Bath-Beyond, and it really does do what is advertised. It is truly an air circulator. I have a digital temp reader on the bottom of my tv stand, and when this thing is running the temp does start to rise a few degrees in the room. That tells me right there that it is really circulating the air in the my family room. Pretty awesome to say the least. I just purchased the mid-size panel circulator for my bed room off the web site. Cant wait to get it and test it out. These things really do work. I was one of those idiots that purchased a Dyson fan before joining the Vornado world. The Dyson sounded like a hair dryer when it was running, what a piece of garbage way to noisy for me. I actually gave the thing to my in-laws to take it up to their cottage. Buy a Vornado, best air circulators on the market period!

Piece of junk!!!

Seriously a piece of junk fan. I had bought one a while back, and exactly a month into having it, the fan broke! Just out of no where turned off and never turned back on. The customer service department even replaced my fan, and not even joking the replacement broke a month after having it. Same issue, just turned off and never turned back on. So sad and pathetic, I have another fan that's a Holmes that I've had for over a year and it is still in good condition. Definitely dont waste the $100+ on his piece of junk.
Cons: Lacks Power

If only it were Quieter

First off.. let me admit my addiction to VORNADO.. I own 8 of their products! Small fans, Large fans, Heaters and a High End Humidifier. All of their products work Great... except ONE. The Tall Tower Fan. No question, it's very good looking and I LOVE that it has a remote control. BUT.. the build on the product is flawed OR I have a lemon, not sure which. When I turn it on past the lowest speed, it rattles something HORRIBLE and makes it unusable. The lowest speed does not do the trick so I have to use one of my other fans and this one was not cheap! I probably need to call customer support and see if it can be exchanged for something else since I hate to own a bad Vornado. Love their product.. just not this one!
Pros: Compact, Easy to install, Great speed settings, Lightweight
Cons: Flimsy, Horrible Sound, Noisy
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

No will not buy this fan again!!!

Replaced after 6 months by vornado. After 3 months with the replacement fan would turn off and make a rattling/ humming noise. Emailed Vornado back and forth for 3 weeks. They only want to send me yet another "up graded" fan. Will not do refund cuz their warranty states replacement. I dont want and piece of junk that may or may not work for any length of time!!! Don't waste $100+ on this fan!!!
Pros: Lightweight
Cons: Quit working after six months. Replaced.
