Great Tower Fan

Bought two of these fans today. I looked at a lot of fans and reviews. I needed two fans for my grandsons bedroom. I didn't want a regular fan and don't like tower fans that oscillate. I was concerned about some reviews talking about this fan being load or not working out of the box. I've had good experience with Vorado in past so went ahead and purchased two. The fans were easily assembled. Definatly not too load. The fans give a good breeze and circulation. I believe these circulators were a good purchase.
I would recommend this to a friend!

An awesome fan to top all others

I've never spent so much on a fan before - perhaps the one downside. My first of these was because it was the only one in the store during a hot summer. I figured it wouldn't be a thing to return it if it turned out to be a waste. Instead, it has been the best fan I've ever used! It moves a very large volume of air and does so in a handy 'V' without oscillation. Since then I've bought two more and heartily recommend it to anyone looking for the best. Its not a super-quiet fan. I don't think it's reasonable to expect that though, given the amount of air it moves. Of course it's more quiet on the lower speeds, but louder when faster. A note of advice as you unpack the fan. The remote is a neat little circular bit that magnetically attaches neatly to the top of the fan. The problem I had with my first one is that it is just small enough to completely miss....and throw away altogether! Vornado was kind enough to replace the remote free of charge - but that can be avoided with attentiveness before discarding the packaging!

Great Fan

This fan kept me cool all summer in my studio. I like the design, and it makes it easy for air to circulate.
Pros: Circulates Air Well, Easy to install, Range of Speeds

Squeaks within first week

Purchased the fan about a week ago and at first everything worked great. We use it all the time and it's helped us cut down on AC costs. That being said it now will squeak extremely loud while running causing me to look for the receipt to take it back. Hoping it's just an individual product issue and not the whole line but makes me weary of trying another for the price tag.

Does not work as advertised

Bought it tonight returning it tomorrow. The fan just blows air straight ahead and only from the middle of the unit. Packaging is so poor it’s a battle just to get back into the box. I’ve used a fan to sleep at night since I was an infant and this was my first and last Vornado purchase.

Hate this new model!!

We had the older model that had actual buttons on the top of the tower with the remote and we loved that one! We have an apartment where the air conditioner doesn't reach our bedroom without a fan and we have 2 small dogs so we kept that fan running 24 hrs, for 365 days non-stop until the motor finally died. We loved it so much we decided to get another one to fill its place however this new model is complete garbage.
The first new model we bought was broken when we bought it and so we sent it back. Bought another new one same new model and this one works..... When IT wants to..... The touch screen "buttons" don't do anything. It's just for show.... We don't keep it on a timer but it changes fan speeds every 10 min. It'll go from being on the 2nd speed to the 4th speed and back to the 2nd speed immediately and then it will turn on and off randomly. It sounds like it's shorting out all the time. I don't know if that's the "energy saving" feature but I absolutely hate it. The only way we will buy this tower again is if you bring back the old model.

I bought mine in June and the controls broke in September, I called Vornado and in 2 days I had a new one! Works great! Their support team gets things done! I really love this fan and I hope It will work forever!!!

Vornado 41” Tower Circulator

Do not waste your money. I bought this to try to help move the cool down my studio apartment. After reading many reviews about how this new design was better than a standard oscillating tower fan, I decided to invest a little more into this product. It is quiet, but it might as well be kept in a closet. On its highest setting, I still have to put my hand within 6 inches to feel any breeze. The wrap around blades definitely do not circulate air around the space. If I could give it 0 stars I would.
