I purchased this vornado for my Dad who is a senior citizen. It was not operating correctly and he misplaced the receipt. I called vornado and got the most awesome service. I spoke to Harold Wray who is not only knowledgeable but well spoken. He instructed me on how to get a replacement. Im in Canada and he was in the States. Within 2 days I received a new vornado. Talk about customer service!!!!! This is somewhat of a rarity these days.

fan failed

I really liked the fan but this fan quite working again ithe first one was return to the store after the first day I fan about six times this year and now it failed i will be contacting Vornado to get another replacement.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It worked for one week. The lights come on, the remote works, but it just makes a double beep sound. I cannot recommend this product and I will not be exchanging it for a new one.

Not a fan of this fan

I bought this fan thinking it will work well but I was wrong. If I want to feel any air movement I have to practically have it sitting in front of me. I always have it on high and still I don't sense much air movement. I have a Seville fan in my bedroom which was way cheaper and works far better than the Vornado. I would have taken it back but . I no longer had the box or the receipt. Very disappointed in this fan and have told everyone I know.
Pros: Easy to install
Cons: Does Not Cool At All
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It's really quiet if you set it to 1st speed. But duh it will be a bit noisy if you set it at the highest speed. Only problem is that it has this burning smell if set at high speed. EVERY TIME on high speed it has that burning smell. Put it outside for a week running on high speed to get rid of the smell!

We've had our 184 tower for just under a year and it has been amazing. Unfortunately, just this past week it has started clicking and/or squeaking if we have it on speeds 1 or 2. I haven't gotten in touch with vornado about my warranty yet, so I'm hoping that we can get the fan repaired/replaced fairly quickly and painlessly. If we are able to this fan would get a 5 star rating.

Greatly improved air circulation throughout my house and has made an impact on my electric bill. The high setting is the only one I use, the others seem to lack the power of the high setting.
Pros: Good Power Output, Great speed settings
Cons: Not Very Powerful
