Can't stop raving aobut my new Tab s 8.4

This is the first android tablet I have owned ( and I have owned 5 others) that can actually replace my laptop. The productivity and the performance of the Tab S are fantastic.
It is by far the best Wifi functionality of any tablet is fantastic and is better than many laptops. It connects very quickly and holds the connection in many places in my home where a laptop does not, regardless of the signal strength. I am able the connect to bluetooth just as easily. The connectivity of this tablet is the best of any I have used.
The resolution of the screen is easily as good as any ipad, if not better. If held side by side, you can not tell the difference, unless you count that the Tab S is slightly better.
The battery is also excellent. I get more than enough time watching videos and many hours of reading with having to plug in.
I showed my cousin and his wife the tablet. They were on the fence about the need for a tablet and really were not sure which one they should purchase. After playing with it for about a half an hour and exploring the features, they did their due diligence, and checked out the reviews etc online and then went out and purchased TWO of them the next day because they did not want to share.
This is really a great all around device for productivity and media consumption. Because, it is so portable, I take mine with me everywhere I go.
I can't stop raving about it to anyone who will listen. Thanks Samsung for a fantastically designed tablet!

I am impressed with my 16GbTab S 8.4". The display resolution is awesome with color that pops! Great for business or family use and a perfect companion to my Galaxy S6 phone!

Samsung has gone out of there way to create a beautiful and fast tablet. The design fits my needs just right for someone who likes a smaller design. I am also glad they released two sizes, the color my tablet came in titanium bronze and i think it gave more character then the white model. I have only had the tablet for about 2 weeks but so far the performance has kept up to my standards, some long pauses has occurred with opening certain apps, but I currently do not know if it is because of the app or the tablet. The graphics are as sharp as you would expect from a Samsung product and layout keeps it comfortable and similar to my Samsung galaxy phone. I am happy with this product and look forward to what Samsung has next to offer.

Cons: feels fragile

Meets all my expectations for a tablet.

I began my search for a tablet at a local retailer nearly 3 weeks ago. They had all the currently
available tablet products laid out side by side on a shelf for consumer examination. My eye went
immediately to the Samsung Galaxy Tab S because it just "popped" out among the competition. The display was spectacular. Now that I am retired, I have the time to do the things I enjoy most - cooking and photography. I have a ton of video recipes, which was a prime motivating factor for purchasing a tablet. I can't bring my desktop PC into the kitchen. The tablet is perfect. So, image quality was a priority for me and I have to say I could not be more pleased with the Samsung Galaxy Tab S. The Super AMOLED display is just awesome and I have not seen another tablet that even comes close in display quality. The clarity, color fidelity, contrast and high resolution is extraordinary. Since I also like to just goof-off and play games from time to time, the Samsung makes all that eye candy more enjoyable... as well as HD movies I watch on my VUDU app. Even the sound quality is excellent. I also love the fact that I can store my many photographs, and "stuff", on a 64 GB microSD card. I quickly took advantage of that feature.

I could go on and on about all the terrific apps and useful features of this tablet, but I will limit
it to just one example. I do all my banking online. I had a check that needed to be deposited. It sat in a drawer for weeks because I did not want to drive across town just to make a deposit. As soon as I got my Galaxy Tab S home I went to Google Play and installed the Mobile Banking app for my bank. I signed in, selected "Make Deposit", snapped a picture of the check, badda bing badda boom, done! Whole thing did not take more than 3 minutes. How cool is that?

Very close to a lapto Browser and most sites are similar to a desktop.

Powerful device for its size, some sites automatically pop up in mobile but when you switch it to desk top you can still navigate the page easily. Very convenient I love mine.

I had a small IPOD (Samsung) liked it , but it was slowing down and the screen size was too small. Love the screen size on this, the whole unit is thin and light weight. Still getting used to all the options, not a computer whiz!, but self explanatory, and easy to use.

Cons: nothing i don't like

great features, durable build

I wasn't sure about how well it was built, because it is so light and thin. I learned the hard way that it is a durable tablet. I dropped it onto a concrete floor the second day of ownership. Aside from a little crease in the top right corner, everything works fine and the glass didn't crack.
Kudos to Samsung for using quality materials and workmanship on this tablet.
