The resolution on this screen is amazing. It is better than most of the high end tablets available. The slightly larger size is still very comfortable to hold in one hand and it is very thin and light. I love watching movies on this because the screen is better than my HDTV. The apps and home page are almost 3D looking. I have been a Samsung fan for quite some time now, and there products just keep getting better and better. The 2 quad core processors make this tablet super quick and even when using several apps at one, it doesn't slow down. This is even better than the Samsung Galaxy Pro 8.4. The sound is good too and I like the fingerprint scanner. This is a good tablet for entertainment and business purposes. I also have the Galaxy tab 4 8 inch and the screen on the new tablet is miles ahead of the Tab 4. Planning on giving the tab 4 to my parents for Christmas to upgrade them from the tab 2 7.0

Late 2013 I gave Samsung a try, switching from an iPhone to the S4. I was very happy with the expandable memory and feature set of my new phone. When the Tab Pro came out, I picked it up. I, myself never before owned a tablet. On occasion I would browse on my wife's iPad mini. The Pro is sweet. A much nicer tablet than the Apple in our house. I was content UNTIL the Tab S came out. The specs and screen resolution (along with the included perks) made me want it. After purchasing it, hardly put it down. My Pro has become my work tablet, and the S, my everything else. Folks at work are now buying your tablets as well thanks to me. Keep up the good work Samsung, and I'll keep upgrading.

This tablet has been a great friend to me as I spent the summer
recovering from throat cancer. I took it with me during my chemo
treatments and was able to read my books, keep up with emails
and do a lot of things on the Internet. It really made my time go by
faster. This is a very user friendly tablet.

Wow, what a great product. The display is absolutely stunning. The clarity and color reproduction is amazing. This tablet is smooth and fast. This is an incredibly thin tablet yet it feels solid in your hands. Best tablet I've used so far hands down. I also love the book cover. Super light weight yet still feels like a quality product. Home Run Samsung!

I love this tablet. I had to get my bf one too and it comes on Thursday. YAY! Get it Samsung, I cant wait until the Note 4 comes out. I'll be anxiously waiting and looking for the design.

I love this tab and would recommend to anyone who is looking to buy one. Compare to an Ipad owned by my daughter, Samsung Tab S is far superior.

Best of My Four Tablets

I have an iPad 2, iPad 4 (Retina), Google Nexus and the Samsung Samsung Galaxy Tab S. The Samsung is NOW my GOTO tablet and gets 90% of my tablet use. As everyone (I think) knows, the display is simply outstanding. The features, flexibility, battery life and ease of use are all outstanding. While I know you generally "get what you pay for," while the Galaxy Tab S is a superb package, it commands pricing that I was willing to pay, but I have to rate it as an "Average Value" due to the premium pricing.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: premium expensive pricing

I love this device (Tab S 8.4). I'm looking forward to installing a bare-bones os on it though, or at least rooting it to rid the parasitic pre-installed bloatware that comes with it. The performance suffers greatly from RAM consumption due to the excessive backgrounded processes, which seem to chew up ram even when "turned off"/disabled. Specifically, the 3GB ram should be plenty, but the 1.5--1.7 are occupied by the os and things you can't turn off/disable. The os itself should take less than 1GB. Lots of software extras are great for casual users, but some of us need the option to remove these. As mentioned in previous two un-publshed reviews, i will not buy another device (tv,cell,whathaveyou) from this manuafacturer until they provide the option to remove all this preinstalled junk (one man's junk..treasure. i understand that. I just want an option).
