Great tablet, fantastic screen, still comes with bloatware

This replaced the original Nexus 7 (2012) and I am very happy with it. The quality of the screen is outstanding, speed is good, as is the battery life.
One point deducted for the pervasive and intrusive Samsung bloatware, especially with its intrusive updates (this unfortunately also goes for the Galaxy S6).

A great replacement

Had a Google nexus 7, Google pushed out 5.1.1, and bricked.... I needed a replacement asap. The Samsung Tab S 8.4 had good reviews, and was priced fairly. I took a chnce and purchased. I must say, I was very pleased withe the display colors, and speed of the unit. Performs much better than my Nexas!! A great tablet at the price..... it is so nice, I am looking to replace our other nexus tablets with the same thing. The 8.4 screen is a perfect balance in size.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Built-in speakers, Lightweight, add memory chip
Cons: can't get rid of factory apps

Great diplay

This tab is very powerful and has a great display. The only thing I would change is the size. The 7 inch format is easier to handle. I use a Galaxy 6 phone and have been very happy with Samsung products.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Lightweight, video streaming works well.
Cons: Too big

In all terms of a tab this is the best choice available. With greater RAM, and excellent display, comfortable size and good battery life it forms a complete solution.
Now I have two of them
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Lightweight, practical
Cons: expensive accessories

Best tablet I've ever had only cons in my opinion are no NFC and a little pricy. Great display size and battery life.

This Tablet is Perfect!

I love my new Samsung Galaxy S tablet. I had a Nexus 7 which I liked a lot. But I found it was just too small for some purposes, especially reading books and comics. But I didn't want something as big and awkward as a 10" tablet. This 8.4" hit the sweet spot. And the screen is beautiful, heck, the whole tablet is beautiful. Solid, not too think, not too thin, not too heavy, not too light. I'm not crazy about the Sense overlay but it works okay--prefer native Android. My only other complaint is all the installed bloatware that you can't delete. When will Samsung learn we don't appreciate this!

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4" tablet is an excellent complement for all things that you can't do or is difficult to do with either a computer or a phone. The screen has brilliant colors and is great for watching movies or videos. I like the 8.4" vs the 10.5" because of the ease of handling with one hand. Highly recommend this product.

I like the tablet but I wish some of the pre-installed apps could be uninstalled.
