Fantastic tablet--well worth the expense

I absolutely love this tablet! The 8.4" screen is the perfect size. It is light weight and easily fits in a purse or tote during travel. It is the perfect size watch movies/videos as well as work on projects and documents. I know I have only scratched the surface of its abilities but I am in love with this tablet. The screen is beautiful and clear. Battery life is good. I love that the speakers were placed on either side of the device (top & bottom if in portrait or left & right in landscape)--great sound!
My only frustration would be the finger print scanner-at times it is a little temperamental and doesn't register my finger print (this is especially true if my fingers are cold).
Overall, I am very pleased and would definitely recommend this tablet!

Great size, great screen

I had a Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 previous to this tablet. Loved it, but ready for one a little larger and the 8" is perfect. Very responsive to touch, minimal buttons, placement of them is handy. Most amazing thing is the screen. Movies are amazing on this. My only slight complaint is that the back case is a little slippery and feels less than sturdy. No longer an issue, with the Samsung book cover on it.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: feels slightly flimsy before cover added.

Although this s my first tablet compared to friends tablets I find it is blazingly fast . I am still learning about all of the features and functions it has but I am really enjoying it so far.

I purchased this for $350 which was a bargain but even for $400 this little guy is a very justified price. I love so many things about so I'll try to keep it clean and simple.
Pros:
compact (absolute perfect size)
Ridiculously thin and light
georgeous design and display
I can't slow it down (super fast)
not aluminum and that's a good thing
build quality easily matches Apple in Samsung's own unique way
expandable storage that you can actually use
camera manages to beat my HTC one

My Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is one of the best tablets I've ever owned. I love the thin, lightweight design and the Super AMOLED most of all. All of my friends enjoy watching movies on this tablet because the picture is amazing. It's really good for multitasking and game playing as well. I even like the flashlight that is built in for the rear facing camera. To me, the Galaxy Tab S is the tablet of the year!

Had the tab pro but now the tab s. This is by far one of the best tablets I've ever owed. The picture is greater, it runs smoother and it looks good. The fun apps are fun-ner. the great apps are greater. The wonderful apps are wonderful-er. I likes!
